Gong Hyo-jin isn’t slowing down this summer. The actress is currently starring in MBC’s Married Killer, which has drawn strong attention, and she’s about to return to theaters with the upcoming revenge film Journey to Gyeongju.
Journey to Gyeongju opens in South Korea on August 26. The film follows a mother and her three daughters, who have spent eight years grieving the loss of their youngest family member. What looks like a simple trip to Gyeongju is anything but ordinary — the real purpose is revenge.
Blending black comedy with family drama, action, and thriller elements, the film brings Gong together with Lee Jung-eun, Park So-dam, and Lee Yeon.
